Glossary
Terms used in the information provided and
in our assembly manual can be confusing to North American builders as can
some spelling. New Zealand follows the UK in its diction and spelling and
so we list some of the commonly used auto terms.
When we say BOOT of the car, its your TRUNK.
When we say HOOD, this is the soft top of a convertible.
When we say BONNET, this is the engine compartment cover or your HOOD.
When we say GEARBOX, this is your TRANSMISSION.
Tyres is Tires
Colour is color
Earth is ground
Plus others that will become obvious.
